I’m excited to share that my colleague, Dr. Haywood, will now be offering Dry Needling right here in my office! This is a wonderful addition to the conservative, hands-on care we’re passionate about providing to our community.
What is Dry Needling?
Dry needling is a therapeutic technique that uses a very thin, sterile needle to target trigger points—tight bands within muscle tissue that can cause pain or restrict movement. By gently stimulating these areas, dry needling can help:
Reduce muscle tension
Improve range of motion
Promote healing and recovery
Relieve pain from both chronic and acute conditions
It’s often used for issues like neck and back pain, headaches, shoulder tension, sports injuries, and more.
Why Consider Dry Needling?
While chiropractic care, soft tissue work, and exercise are excellent tools for restoring balance and function, sometimes the body needs an extra nudge to release stubborn tension. Dry needling can complement chiropractic treatments beautifully, helping patients achieve faster and longer-lasting results.
Meet Dr. Haywood
Dr. Haywood and I went to school together, and I’m thrilled to welcome her expertise to my space. She shares the same commitment I do: providing thoughtful, conservative care that empowers patients to take charge of their health. She will be available for dry needling sessions on Sundays and Mondays.
